I am using the german translation for my gallery2 website.
I would like to change the transation of some of the expressions.
I though I can just edit the relevant .po file (like de.po in the modules/core folder).
However, my changes in that file are not reflected when I open my gallery. What else do I have to do?

Editing the .po file is the first step.
You need to compile a .mo
You will find help for all this on our docu pages.

I don't really know how to make a .mo file from this article. There are some orders like :cd po make de.po (using German as an example), but this is all server-side, i think. How can i make a .mo file locally to upload it then to server?
