Hey, gang, take a look at my main page sidebar (www.electrolund.com). I swapped out the G2 Image Chooser icons for similar ones found in the FamFamFam set. Nice, huh? You can do so as well by changing these four: /wp-content/plugins/wpg2/g2image/img/ (there seems to be a duplicate directory in /wpg2/img/, not sure why?) with whichever ones you want. The FamFamFam icons I chose were: I used Gimp to convert the PNGs to GIFs. I've attached them if you want them.

iRob, Very cool. Thanks for the pointers. They'll work for any set of gifs like that. I'll put this in the wiki sometime. The duplicated images in wpg2 and g2image are because of the way dtree hard wired it's images. I tried to remove the duplication, but it would have required digging deeper into dtree than I wanted to while we were troubleshooting all of the URL rewrite issues in WPG2. It was easier at that point just to live with the redundant images and scripts. For WPG2 3.1, I'll take another hack at removing the dtree images and scripts from the WPG2 folder and just keep it in the G2Image folder (since G2Image also stands on its own outside of WPG2 for Joomla, Drupal, phpBB, SMF, e107, etc.) Kirk |

No problem. The only reason I watnted to do this in the first place is that my theme (as are many these days) is based on the FamFamFam icon set. So it was just more consistent to have the dtree icons "fit in". Of course, one big downside to my mod is that with any successive updates to the WPG2 plugin, those icons will be overwritten. And it's such a small thing, I doubt it's worth the trouble to allow for other icons in the plugin itself. Cheers! |
