Carbon Theme - Picture placement

I'm a new Gallery user so please forgive me if this has been posted before (couldn't find a search function).

On the picture display page - if there is a description on the side of the page, the picture is centered vertically based on the size of the dialogue.

Is there an easy way to always have the picture placement at the top of the page?
