Hwo to log / audit user activity?

Hi everybody,

Am I missing something, or is there no way of tracking user activity on Gallery 2.2.3?

More specifically, I am interested in tracking who has been online when, and of course also un-successful login attempts.

Any suggestions or ideas how I can accomplish this?

G2.3 has 'Event Logs' and there is a notification module under development as well.

I've been looking at the 'Event Logs' module. Worryingly it is full of reported PHP errors, here's a brief example:

They are all related to lines 264 and 44 of GalleryCommentHelper.class

Is this something to worry about?

those constants are defined at the top of modules/comment/module.inc.
i guess there's a bug when the event-listener in GalleryCommentHelper.class is called, module.inc isn't included yet.

could you please file a bug at http://sf.net/projects/gallery/ ? thanks.

Any progress on seeing who is or is trying to log in and how often?

Probably not what you're looking for, but there is a notifications plugin and you can use that to send you notifications for logins and logouts. However, that's it.
