I am trying to integrate Garelly2 into Drupal.
However I get the following error message.

Embedded Gallery2 Status:

* 'URI of Gallery2' variable: Error
o URL derived from http://localhost/www/drupal/gallery2/ is invalid

Since I am using WAMP this is the place where I put gallery2, C:\wamp\www\drupal\gallery2

Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong please.

PHP version (5.2.3):
Webserver (Apache 2.2.4):
Database (MySql 5.0.41-community-nt):
Operating system (WindowXP, WAMP):
Browser (Firefox 2.0.0.7):

I just solved the problem but I got another problem.

I moved gallery2 to modules in drupal and I input drupal/modules/gallery2/.

Then it worked, but I got the following Advisory.

"Either the URL rewrite module is not installed or the version is too old."

So I will investigate what this URL rewrite module is about and install it.

If you have any idea, please let me know.

Hmmmmm. I don't understand.

I have "rewrite" module in garelly2. And Drupal says "Gallery2 URL Rewrite Module Status: Advisory

* Either the URL rewrite module is not installed or the version is too old."

Can any one tell me how to fix this?

Thanks.

Hi Elvis!
Did you solve your problem? I have similar issues using WAMP, drupal 5.2, G2.2.3 within drupal dir, and drupal module gallery-5.x-2.0-beta4.
I don't get the message at all, I'm just not able to make url rewrite work properly and end up with page not found.
If you got it working could you let me know your settings in the drupal g2 module settings for url rewrite? (Public path to .htaccess, Filesystem path to .htaccess)
Cheers,
Fr.

I am sorry. I gave up with Gallery. I found Thickbox is much better. Try it.

Actually I solved my problem upgrading to beta5 of the drupal gallery 2 module. But I still have 'page not found' when clicking on an album name...
