Creating a new album

I have spent the last 6 hours reading and trying to configure a new album.

I have created an album named taras. I want to create a new album called Dasha, however when I click on new album, I keep on keep getting a sub-menu of taras. I do not want a sub menu of taras. I want to create a new album called dasha.

What am I doing wrong?

First we would like to know which version of Gallery you are using.

Thanks for replying.

I guess that I should have stated what version.

I am using Version 2.2.3.

My system is Windows XP and the OS I think is window XP?

I am a old guy age 59 trying to understand all this lingo about linux which I do not know about.

I have installed G V2.2.3 and I am having some other problems.

The latest problem is with NETPBM.This is what I get and i dont know what to do. I chmod to 755. I also installed Netpbm as a binary file.
