"add to cart" link on albums with sub-albums only

On albums which only contain sub-albums I still get add to char link (even though this link only informs a user that it should not be clicked). Users are, rightly, annoyed by this. Is this something other users are experiencing as well, and is it really that hard/expensive to check for each album?

Same behavior on my Gallery2 installation.
