Just wanted to say thanks and ask a questions.

I maintain a web site that uses both phpbb and gallery. Is it in the roadmap to bring these "permission" systems into sync. It does not make sense to make users maintain 2 accounts.

Keep up the work. I'd help but I have very limited understanding of what is needed.

G2 is designed to work with existing user databases so (eventually) you'll be able to install G2, tell it where your PhpBB user database is and it'll draw user information from there. It will also draw group information from there.

However, G2's permission infrastructure is radically different than PhpBB's so you'll have to assign G2 permissions using G2 itself.
