Albums tree, backgrounds, ...

I try to change on G2 from G1 (because of some technical problems) and i'm looking for 3 main things:
- Album tree in main G2 page
- Black backgrounds in all pages,
- presentation on photo page as centered photo without some detailed info (just description and maybe comment)- very good is in HYBRID theme photo page - with kind od slideshow.

Can someone help me wih some advice.

I'm not very good with all this ....
Where can I add this Album select block/DHTML tree

Everything in G2 is so confusing to me...Lot of unusable things and a very litle usable :-)

log in as admin
go to the album you want this ( remember the root (main.php) is a album as well)
edit album
select the theme tab
where it says "Blocks to show in the sidebar" select the album select DHTML from the dropdown,
select add
select save

If Album Select is not available you will need to install and activate that module.
