importing albums and subalbums for many user and making them the owner?

I have about 3800 users in a Joomla site for which I want to import their albums into a bridged Gallery 2.2 installation. Any thoughts on how to go about this?

I have just recently changed my old gallery to a newer version fregata.com/gallery2 and I ask for help professionals, specially transferring 40,000 Pictures. I'm positive Tomas from HostVector.com can help.

I'm also planning to establish my public accessed gallery pretty soon heaving redirected main old gallery fregata.com/gallery to new site.
