'Comments' Help!

I'm having a small, but irritating problem - it has to do with the 'Comments' system of Gallery. People have been spamming the crap out of each photo via the 'Comments' link. What I want to do is either make it so no one can enter comments, or just select users. However, the problem arose when I tried to make it so that no one could post comments. I set 'Allow Public Comments' to 'No' several times. Made Gallery go back into 'Execution Mode' (or whatever you want to call it) and still, anyone can post. Even after I hit 'Save Config' it shows it set to '--> [no]' or however it looks. I don't see why its not dis-allowing people from entering comments. Any help here? Also if it's possible to make it so that only certain users can post comments, rather than anyone and everyone that would be greatly appreciated too! Thanks in advance! :lol:

Okay. I got the problem resolved. I talked to beckett via AIM. Just in case anyone else wants information on this, here's some of the chat log -

Hello:

I installed Gallery and everything works fine, but I cannot find any comments link anywhere. I redid my configuration and made sure to have allow Public comments set to "Yes." (I later want to customize it to only allow logged in users) but FIRST, i need to find where is the area people ADD COMMENTS???

I acted like a visitor and clicked on an album and then clicked on some photos...I still do not see any sign of a comments link.

Anyone have any siggestions? :cry:

You obviously didn't read the chat log ;)

The configuration wizard is only defaults. Edit each individual album's properties and set "Allow Public Commenting" to yes

Hello:

I did read the chat log :)

I already had Comments set to yes in the configuration of Gallery, and there were no "comment links" in each individual album, so I could not set "Allow Public Commenting" to yes ;)

I did happen to solve my problem by deleting all the albums, and reinstalling gallery again. Thank you for your response.
