(solved) how to resize thumb page in TIEN theme

hi,
i'm using tien theme. i want to resize thumbnail page of this to a fix size(say 600px), by default it appears on full page. i can't find any css setting related to this in theme.css. however i have changed album width on album pages successfully. in album.tpl there is this function for thumb page but which points to a css class "gsItemsMatrix".

when i add WIDTH to this "gsItemsMatrix" it doesn't show in gallery it remains full page

can anybody help me?
