Greetings,
I've had my gallery for a couple years now. Decided it was time to update the website again, however I'm running into some problems/errors. I have the previous photo albums backed up :), however is it possible to merge them into another version in Gallery 1 Series?

I would like to know what the "RC2" means after the version?

After I did the testing part, I get this:
We highly suggest that you run 'secure.sh', or chmod your .htaccess and config.php to 644 for increased security.
So I change them to that 644 from 777 and I still get error messages.

I dont think I want to upgrade to the latest version (GALLERY 2). PHP is difficult for me to use because I'm not familiar with it mainly. I'm dealing more in ASP. However, I do appreciate everyone's effort in the creating of the Galleries for everyone to enjoy.

Any help with the above would be great.

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):http://sheldon74.com/Gallery/
Gallery version:1.5RC2
Apache version:
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):PHP v4.4.1
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system:
Web browser/version (if applicable): IE7
Thank you,
JFrog

Hello,

1.)
Yes it it possible, when the physical foldername of the album is unique in both Galleries.
If so, then just copy the folder of the albums you want to merge in the album*s* folder of the destination gallery.

2.)
It means "Release Candidate" and indicate a preversion to the final version.

3.)
Might be an error in your pre version
