The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):http://evilhawk.homelinux.com/gallery2/
Gallery version:v1.5.1 (old, but works well)
Apache version:Apache 2.0.54
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):>4.1.0, can't remember offhand how to check this (it's been a while since I touched this server)
Graphics Toolkit:ImageMagick
Operating system: Redhat/Fedora 3
Web browser/version (if applicable): IE 6.0 and Firefox 1.0.7

Anyway, to make a long story short, I just returned from a long vacation and took a TON of photos. In excess of 1000 photos to be exact. Well, around 703 photos, it decided to stop accepting new photos. Even if I made a new album, it was giving me the same "cannot upload picture, cannot find gallery at http.....". So, on a whim, I decided to delete everything in the albums folder and start from scratch (I had created a new gallery anyway to do this). I then went ahead and could upload just fine again, but this time I hit a different limit. It was 800 or so for some odd reason.

Well, as you can imagine, I was getting quite frustrated about this. It became quite obvious very quick that there was some kind of actual limit on the number of photos you could have in a single album. The only way I could think of to remedy this was to create sub-albums, and only put around 500 or so pictures in each one. This seems to work quite well, but I am still quite disturbed that there was some rather low limit on the number of pictures a single album could contain.

Any thoughts?
