Greetings all,

Having problem with large pictures. Not data size, but physical dimension big. These are scans at 8 X 11 inches, all under 900Kb. I am guessing that the problem since normal pics display fine. The errors I am getting is on the thumbnails, Warning: Division by zero in /www/gonzo/gallery/classes/Image.php on line 221

Is there a size limit on pictures? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

There's no size limit on images.

Hmm. Can you give me the URL to your Gallery and tell me which photo is having the problem? I'll check it out remotely.

This seems to happen with gif files, I can't even display the gif on your site
at all. It's possible the file header got corrupted in transit. Try to reupload
the image, if that doesn't work, open the image in some editor and resave it.
Then try to upload it.

Ok, that fixed one of the pics...the one that had a thumbnail, but did not display full size. The other two with the divide by zero errors were not affected by the resave and upload.

Bharat, I know you said size didnt matter (no pun), I went ahead and reduced the size for the second set (since I was opening and resaving). The originals were over 50 inches by 30 inches (dont ask, the wife scanned them). The new set are 8 by 6 inches roughly, and uploaded from a different PC.

That could be an issue with NetPBM choking on the images, and not
something directly related to Gallery.

No problem, GIF has always been a crappy format really, too bad
nobody thought up PNG and MNG sooner
