create album and change language problem

1st problem-

When i wanna create new album, it show me this msg:

Attention Gallery Administrator!
Gallery has detected the following 1 invalid album(s) in your albums directory
(/home/.../www/html/album):

album01

Please move it/them out of the albums directory.
----------
i set the album folder chmod to 777 already.

========================

2nd problem-

i read installation guide, and upload Language Packs(zh-HK) to my server, but i don't know how to change the setting in configuration wizard.

1.) Do you know how this album01 folder get into your gallery albums dir?

2.) When you say "upload language pack to your server" what EXACTLY did you do?

1)I login gallery and click " new album", then it show this msg to me.
2)I upload the files to the folder--> locale, after that, i don't know what i should do.

when i click "New Album",
it turn to a page and said "Error: Could not open lock file (/home/virtual/site153/fst/var/www/html/album/album02/photos.dat.lock) for writing! "

Hi,

the first thing is a permission issue. You need to chmod your albums folder 777 and delete those orphaned albums manually, or via the find orphans tool from the admin area.

files?
you should have a folder after you unpacked the archive.
This folder must be putted into the locale folder of your Gallery.

Yes, i upload this folder to locale folder already, then i don't know what to do.

no,

the albums folder (the folder that contains all the gallery albums) needs to be chmodded to 777. Then all should be fine.
(the orphaned albums still need to be removed manually)

If you really did that, then the new languge appears in the config wizard.

Well, obviously it didnt work.
Did you do it recursive?

i use gallery1.5.6 and netpbm, do i need to install other Gallery features?

and i checked albumdb.dat, albumdb.dat.bak and albumdb.dat.lock that be chmodded 644 in album folder, are they alright?
