Adding image descriptions a simple process? or clumsy multiple step process?

I was curious as to how simple or complex the process of adding descriptions to an image was using this photo gallery software.

I will be uploading multiple images at a time most likely in a zip file. Once these images are uploaded is there a simple process to describing them?

Is it better to describe them using desktop photo organization software first?
