Gallery 1.x supports avi, mpg, mov and wmv movie formats.

Hmm... I'm not sure what I am missing here.. When I try to upload a *.mpg I get an error about the jpg thumbnail...
Is there a special way to upload the vids? Or should it be just like the pics?

Hmm, video's/movies use a static thumbnail image that is included
with the distribution. Did you remember to update the path to this
file when you ran the configuration procedure? If not sure, I suggest
you re-do it and double-check the value for this entry. Or just take
a look in your config.php for the movie thumbnail setting and make
sure it's pointing to the right location.
