log on password for gallery not working

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version:1.5
Apache version:dont know
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):dont know
Graphics Toolkit:none
Operating system:xp
Web browser/version (if applicable): windows internet explorer 7

I try to long on to edit the pics and it says wrong password. changed password on accont but still will not work.

How were you able to change the password without logging in?

The same thing is happening to me. I use "recover password" to change it, get the e-mail, follow the link ... but changing the password, keeping it the same, doesn't matter ... I still can't log in. Either it throws me back to my gallery, or to the login screen, with no "error" underneath, like if I'd used a bad password.

This is a Gallery 1 Forum.

G1 and G2 do not work the same way.

I still can not get to my pics to change them can some one help me. my password still says it is incorrect. I have changed it and can log onto my accontt but when I try to log onto the pic site it will not let me. Dose anyone know how to fix this.

I am really confused. I forgot my password and so found the way to change it using the blank reset file. I get into the config wizard and do what I have to do. From the config tool, I can log in, but from the gallery url on my website, I still can not log into add any pictures. What am I doing wrong. I use Startlogic as my host and they will not help me.

Am having similiar problem. I log in and the password box becomes blank. No error is shown but I am not logged in
