Joomla - Multiple community contributors through Joomla front end?

I am considering using G2 for my yet-to-be Joomla website. I will have a community of contributors who I would like to add albums of their images to my website using the Joomla front-end. Is this possible with G2? many thanks, debbie |

G2 is multi-user ready. You can grant permissions to specific users or user-groups to allow them to add (upload) items / add sub-albums / ...

Thanks for that valiant. I can't believe how perfectly G2 matches my wish list of things I wanted to do with images - it's as if it were tailor made. I'm excited! Actually, there is only one other thing that I can think of that I was wanting of my image gallery that I haven't seen any mention of. I was wanting my images to be searchable by fields from drop-down boxes with price range, size range, predominant colour etc. Could this type of info be entered in any way at point of image upload?
