Updating Keywords

A while back I uploaded a large quantity of pictures and got my gallery2 site up and running...now i'm starting to have a need to append proper keywords to these photos. Is there any way that IPTC information can be edited via gallery remote? I've seen a few posts where some workarounds are possible via editing the .inc file? What i'm trying to avoid is assigning keywords locally and having to reupload everything, or use the web interface to provide this info.

I have the same problem so unfortunately I cannot help you. My workaround proposal would be to use a light image program like Irfan which allows you to edit IPTC info, but then you'd have to re-upload. And I haven't tested it out though. Sorry.

I appreciate the reply though :) The more i read, the more i'm afraid that's the road i'll have to take. It looks like even using the Aperture plugin to manage the gallery the keywords I input are not uploaded.

I have the same problem.
I installed the REMOTE and wanted to use it to update the captions ( of photo's already online ) but it wouldn't save them.
