Ok, definitely a "noob", but I have been doing pretty good, so far, until this. I am trying to "get plugins"...this is my message:

Configure your Gallery
Before you can proceed, you have to change some permissions so that Gallery can install plugins for you. It's easy. Just execute the following in a shell or via your ftp client:

cd gallery2
chmod 777 modules
chmod 777 themes

Just need to know where and how I go about this?...:-(
Thanks, karen

how to manage your website? with a ftp program? use your ftp program to change the permissions of files/folders, also known as chmod (google has the whole story).
