The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):http://www.poguemahonesc.co.uk/gallery
Gallery version:1.5.6
Apache version:Not sure where to find that - sorry
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):4.4.4
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system:Mac OSX v 10.4.9
Web browser/version (if applicable):Firefox v 1.5.0.11

Sorry about bringing this one up - I have read lots of threads which cover this issue, but I need to know how I would get a full filesystem path to the albums directory. I have changed the permissions, etc. but I don'tknow where to find this info. I use an FTP client called Fetch, and it does not seem to give me the option of viewing the filesystem structure in it's correct form. Plus I am a total noob to all this PHP malarky!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, in advance

Mark

I seemed to have fixed it myself. For other users out there who don't know what they are doing (like me), there is an option on the same page for 'thumbnail image'. I copied and pasted this default setting into the Album directory box, and changed the last bit to my albums folder. It was fairly simple, really. Sorry for a wasted post!

Not a wasted post at all. I couldn't figure that out either.
Thanks!

Not a waisted comment at all. After betting my head against the wall this was the comment that finally gave me the idea to use the path as noted in the "thumbnail image". It did the trick and the config completed with no errors. Thanks for documenting the way you found it. Life saver.
