Hey there.

I've installed Xoops successfully but also installed Gallery2 successfully.

I now want to integrate them. I'm finding the guide provided very hard to follow. I know it is a massive ask but if anyone has easier explanations/instructions or can assist me on msn it'd be much much appreciated.

Thanks very much

why don't you use the xoops g2 integration?

I'd already installed and set up g2 on its own.

Either way I eventually resorted to using the xoops g2 integration which cost me an extra day but hey! At least it works :p

I also have an independent gallery2 installation, and a xoops website with a xoopsgallery-module (the above mentioned xoops g2 integration i think). Inside the xoopsmodule-directory i deleted everything in /engine, and replaced it with a symlink to independent-site/gallery2root.(engine -> /stand-alone/gallery2/) Works fine (if you can issue the command ln)
