looking for custom features and theme

We are looking for someone to create customizations to the gallery software and possibly help with integration with a CMS such as joomla. This will be a community website for user taken photographs of bands. The goal is to allow users to upload pictures of a band and have them placed into a public gallery for that band, but also have the images show up in the users personal gallery page sorted by band.

Some of the other features we are looking for (which might be better accomplished via whatever CMS we choose)

- comments on images
- user profile pages.. possibly showing latest images, profile comments, blurbs
- a custom front page allowing us to show featured bands, news articles, and featured user galleries/profiles
- rating of images and galleries

Essentially we want a highly interactive community website with myspace like features such as PM's, user profiles, but with the focus aimed at sharing photos of bands.
