simple machines gallery lite to gallery 2

I have just started experimenting with galleries and I came across Gallery2 in my installatron control panel. I like the looks of your software so far, but being a rookie, I haven't grasped the functions for importing my SMF gallery images to Gallery 2

Appreciate any suggestions or feedback, and I apologize if this is another dead horse subject. H

there's a SMF integration for G2. but i've never heard of a SMF gallery or an import function for such a gallery.
