.tar file / can't open. help!

	i need an application which can help open the main file. i've tried winzip but it didn't seem to work. maybe because of the trial version or something but i'm desperate to try out this gallery and i don't have any clue as how to open this file! :cry:

	Make sure the file you download off the web gets saved as a ".tar.gz" file. Change the name if necessary. WinZip will have no problem un-tarring and un-gzipping ".tar.gz" files. -Beckett ( )

	make sure you download it onto your machine instead of just selecting 'open' from the beginning. I ran into the same problem. I had to actually download the file instead of just opening it.

	Maybe we should offer a zipped version of Gallery? It's not that hard to make -- I already have one made, it took about a minute...
