Greets
Gallery 2.12 is installed. The theme is Carbon. I've customizing like mad, inch by inch with the CSS and the TPL. How do you specify an image that is NOT part of the album as the thumbnail for the album? I stumbled over this but cannot find it again. The stumble was in the midst of creating an album. I've created several more and looked about while doing so and can't find. Any suggestions?

add the item, make it the highlight, and then take all the view permissions away from that item.

or edit album-> album tab, at the bottom there is a custom thumbnail section.

Many thanks. All well. That thumbnail section at the bottom of the album tab is what I remembered using. However,. when I switched the Carbon color pack to PG snow, it disappeared. Another indicator that the color pack isn't seamless with Carbon is the 20 pixel gap between the images that make up the tabs at the top of the gallery themes interface. I've no idea how to fathom what's amiss. See

Well PG snow is not a colorpack for Carbon (note the name: PG).
I have found 2 tools that are invaluable the firefox browser and the web development tool that allows you to Make live edits to the CSS of a web page..
Once you have them both installed....
select edit css and under the 'information' dropdown check display ID & class details.
Edit your CSS and you will see the results. Once you have this the way you want, upload your edited css to the server.
