Hello all,

Thank you in advance for any help resolving my question.

This is probably a no-brainer since i don't see it listed as a question here all ready, but how do I set the permission to allow my site users to be able to post gallery images? I have my group permissions set allowing "Everybody" to add items, add sub-categories, view comments, etc. but I don't know how to actually make a group called "Everybody" and allocate what that group actually is. So far the only way for me to actually put images up is to grant ALL access to individual users and I dont want to do that. Any ideas?

Thanks,
ian

really looking for some help on this...

I have tried making a group called "Registered Users" and setting the permissions to add comments, add, sub-item and nothing happens. I have even created a test user and given that user specifically these permissions for an album and nothing happens. My gallery users can not upload images, write comments, or anything. they can only view the pictures I put up which i can only post because I can do it via the gallery admin. Even as an all access admin there are no front-side add image or add comment links or options. something is wrong. PLEASE please help.

1. please read the quick start guide. documentation -> quick start guide. it explains some basic permission concepts

2. there are 2 alternatives:
a) just install the useralbum module.
b) add the "[core] add sub-item]" permission to the "Registered Users" group.

please use google or this site's search function for questions about the useralbum module.
