E-mail notification? Add back emails sent by yourself??

Well I love the new forum, but since I tend to organise myself by the e-mail notification, I've found one new change hard to adapt to: Currently, posts *I* personally make don't get sent to me, so it's now really hard for me to look through the list of posts and know what I've replied to, since I no longer have a list of my posts. It seems reasonable to me that if I'm subscribing to every other post in the forum, I should be getting e-mails of my own posts as well. Otherwise, I don't have a "complete" listing. I use the emails all the time to look up things I've written in the past, and without a copy, I'll be lost! What do you think?? Have I become too dependent on the email notification and just need to be weaned off it?? :roll: -Beckett ( ) |

BTW... something weird happens with the polls... I thought it disappeared, then added things again, but now they're doubled up. Whoops!

FYI, this will probably be a site-wide setting since I don't want to fork too far from the PNphpBB2 codebase. So whatever we decide here I'll set for everybody.

Okay, the vote was 5 in favor, 3 against and about a million "I don't cares". The ayes have it -- I've changed it so that you'll get an email for your posts also. As I said above, this is a site wide setting so it affects everybody.
