Can't activate themes

I just installed G2 and for some reason the only theme it will let me select from the themes directory is "matrix." I can't select ajaxian, carbon, classic, floatrix, hybrid, siriux, slider, or tile. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Th reason I ask is the behavior for G2.2 is different (better UI)

login as admin
under the 'display' section there is a "themes" link click it.
Click the "All Themes" tab.
Install and Activate the themes you wish to have.

Hello again. Okay, I logged in as admin and looked under the Display section, but there is no "themes" option there. I found a "themes" option under the Gallery section, but couldn't find an "All Themes" tab.

The screenshots you sent are NOT from G2.1.2 They are from G2.2RC.

Anyway;
login as admin
go to site admin, click plugins, scroll down to the bottom you will have a section called "Themes" install/activate the themes you would like.

My problem is similar...but when I go to activate the themes on the plugins list instead the page errors out. It simply will not let those activate links work. Any suggestions?
