Hi all!

Would it be possible to strip the BBCode tags from the emails sendt out to those of us that subscribe to some or all of the forums?

Some of the emails recieved are practically unreadable due to the formatting codes, and since I primarily follow the discussions this way its a lot harder to go through the posts now, compared to before the forum change.

I echo h0bbel's request. Not only have the tags been extended from [b] to things like [badsf234234] and things like $foo->bar get changed to $foo-&bar.

The simple way to do this, I would think (and the way it probably worked with phpBB1.4), is to run the e-mail code right after the submit button is clicked, before phpBB gets a chance to run through and make changes to the input text.

I know patching this feature in has been a hassle, so I hate to sound so critical!! )

I'll look into fixing it this evening. It shouldn't be too difficult (but we'll see :-) )
