[Resolved] Gallery2+G2 bridge+Joomla= can't link to album, please help!!

Hi,

I manage to install Gallery 2 bridge and able to display the root album in joomla, but when I click on the thumbnails, unable to go to gallery, all I get is
http://www.index.php/?option=com_gal...8&g2_itemId=20

Gallery standalone site: http://www.benjaminloo.com/gallery2/main.php

I have searched these forums and found several posts addressing this issue, but I tried the following:

URL rewrite: not installed.
Search Engine Friendly URLs: disable

still unable to get my issue resolved yet.

gallery2 is 2.21
Joomla is 1.0.12
Bridge is 2.0.14

Been post the same question in 4 the web and Joomla forums, but still no solutions found, please enlighten me how could I solve this problem?

Hi,

I had a similar problem with the 2.0.14 bridge on my testsite.
Enabling Search Engine Friendly URLs in Joomla's Global Configuration > SEO fixed this issue in my case.

I tried the following combinations of setting,

Joomla SEO, Gallery URL rewrite, both off, I get

http://index.php/?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=29&g2_itemId=523

Joomla SEO off, Gallery URL rewrite on, I get

http://index.php/v/outdoor_portraits/300906_joanna_teh/?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=29

Joomla SEO, Gallery URL rewrite, both on, I get

http://component/option,com_gallery2/Itemid,29/v/weddings/091206_chee_sun_irene/

Joomla SEO on, Gallery URL rewrite off, I get

http://component/option,com_gallery2/Itemid,29/?g2_itemId=20

Not sure what have I miss out or went wrong?

Hi all,

My problem have resolved, able to link my gallery from Joomla now.

the reason was due to a double slashs in my domain URL, I found out the answer to remove the double slashs here.

if you are using SEF Advance or compatible SEF component, i have a sef_ext.php which makes the rewrite module work when embedded in joomla.

you can download from sjr.greatsouthernwines.com Instructions for use are in the header of the file.

works with g2 rewrite active or not, but prefers g2 rewrite to be active.

I could really use the help

Trying to use url rewrite with Artio JoomSEF - nothing seems to work willing to give this a try

Please help

Hi

It could be very nice to use url rewriting with gallery2 embedded with gallery2bridge.
Does anyone know where to find a sef_ext.php that works?
