Login to smf/joomla and gallery same time

Hello!

I`m using Joomla 1.0.12 and smf 1.1.1 and gallery 2.1.2

When people login to SMF and same time they login to joomla as registered. How i can make so that when they login to SMF they also login to Joomla and ALSO to gallery? so they dont have to go to gallery site and login there?

Hope you understand?

i can't answer the question, but give you some insight into what problem needs to be solved.

- when you integrate g2 with joomla, joomla is handling login/logout and informs g2 of who's logged in or not.
- i guess it's the same way with smf/g2.

i don't know how you integrate the 3 applications.
is it a joomla <-> smf + joomla <-> g2 integration? then i'd assume that joomla is the master of everything and using joomla's login should work.
if it's a joomla <-> g2 + smf <-> g2 integration, then it doesn't work since there's no master of all interactions.

one can make it work either way, but the only way to have it work out of the box without modifications is having joomla as the master of both integrations. (or maybe smf as the master of both integrations)

Okey!

I have Joomla in one folder, SMF inother folder and Gallery 2 in other folder. Then i have bridge with SMF and Gallery 2 but only SMF is wrapped in joomla. Gallery is unwrapped. I have installed that gallery bridge but not sure how to configure it?

When i go to components-gallery-user management i see there are people, but only some are checked. There is item called: "G2 user check" When i click "users" they synhronice these people to G2 but is it possible to make so that when people register to site this automatically synhronise these people also to G2

Any ideas? I have installed that gallery2 bridge but always i have to go to user management and there i have to click that "users" button to synch these. But is it possible to make this automatic?

Hi,

the Joomla users will synced to Gallery2 when the user is entering the embedded gallery the first time.

Why don't you try TinyPortal which will give you full CMS integration with SMF? That should keep the SMF / G2 integration intact so you get what you want.
