migration frustration, please help

I just installed Gallery v2 and created a test album and was following the Data Migration instructions. The orange bar was moving nicely along then it froze about halfway into the creating thumbnails. I looked up at the memory display and it had not moved at all. I waited for awhile then press refresh and i got sent to the Database Error page with this warning.

An error has occurred while interacting with the database.

Back to the Gallery

when i press the back to gallery it loops back to the same error.

I rechecked to and made sure my file integrity was intact

when i try to login to myphpadmin i get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pma_reloadnavigation() in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/phpMyAdmin-2.6.3/header.inc.php on line 133

What can i do to fix this problem?

please try again, this time don't let it create thumbnails in the same go. let it do that automatically at a later time.

Sent a message to my provider and i guess they fixed my database. looks like its working now.

I also redid like you said and no problems. Thanks!!

well i thought everything was working well but today when i clicked logout in the admin screen everything came crashing down and stopped working again. To start the install process over would all i need to do is del the gallery folders i made on my server and remove the gl items in my database?

if you want us to give you some input on the error ("everything came crashing down and stopped working"), we'll need more information about it.

to start from scratch, just run the installer again choosing to "redo" the steps and in the database setup step (step 5), choose "erase" after clicking "save". no need to delete anything before.
