Slideshow - "Gallery remote Bundled" message

When I run the Java full screen slide show, I get the "Gallery Remote Bundled" message due to missing 'jpegtran'

While Gallery Remote may need this code for uploading, it does not seem to need it for running the slide show. This message can be confusing for the "unwashed" viewers.

Is there a way to turn this message off in the slideshow code?

yup, slideshow doesn't need it.. that's a bug. please file it on sf.net if it hasn't been filed already.

I guess JRSforums didn't report the bug. Over three years later, I'm still getting the message when I ran slideshow!

Also, I'm puzzled why I have to run a separate install after reading this from the Gallery Downloads page:
