Two columns on the start page?

Is it possible to get two columns on the front page of the gallery?

I'd like to be able to have two columns and just have the text bunch itself up?

can someone offer some suggestions?

I tried just added an extra table field in the gallery.header.default and gallery.footer.default files but that didn't seem to cut it.

Read through the rest of the forum please, or do a search, there are a few posts already which cover 2 column layouts.

They seem to cover two column layouts in regards to pictures in one column text in the other. So that the text is on the side (not below) the picture.

I'd like to be able to put two columns (both with text and pictures) on the front page of gallery.

Has this been discussed before? I did do some searches but didn't find much.

Hmm, I think you're right in that regard. Although, looking through what
they did would probably be a good foundation for what you wish to do.

I want to do the same Vallimar, I done what you suggested and look through past posts and I seen to come up with is a list of failures :wink:
