"Checkout" not visible on guest side

Hi,
I have installed the Checkout module but it is only visible from the admin view of the site, when I switch to "guest" its gone.
In admin, it can be selected in "item Actions".
I have disabled "Cart" as instructed. Link is below, I would greatly appreciate any help.

Does the "guest" have permisions to add items to the cart?
Form the Docs:

The Checkout module also creates a new Gallery permission called [checkout] Purchase item. You can specify which items are available for purchase by which users simply by using Gallery's existing permissions framework to set this permission on albums and items.

To make this available site-wide for all visitors, navigate to the top of your Gallery and choose "Edit Permissions" on each album. Add a new group permission for group "Everybody" (or "Registered Users" if you prefer) allowing them "[checkout] Purchase item".
