"Next photo" button in Edit photo view?

Hi,

I would love a "next" button in Edit image -view, instead of having to go back to album and select edit photo from the next photo's drop down menu (it's slow and tedious). Is there something like that already done, like maybe a completely superior metadata editing system? How hard is it to hack the button in there?

I'm using 2.1 Blackjack release at the moment. Thanks for any insight!
