'New' icon under all galleries and images

Hey there. If you were to look at the gallery i'm creating at http://images.exyzee.com you would see that under all galleries and images there is the word 'New' in a box. I obviously thought that it was just there when a gallery or image was new, but I have browsed them while logged in and out, and still it stays. Firstly does anyone know why it's there and how long before it is no longer new and also where you can remove it completely? I am using Carbon theme on Gallery 2.1.2 - sorry I tried searching but the function isn't working correctly plus searching for the word 'new' would probably return a lot of results |

as usual it takes me posting in a forum and looking like an idiot to find what is under my nose. In site-admin i just went to 'display', 'new items' and then selected 0 days to disable it. Sorrrrrry!

1. Login to the administrative interface of your gallery.
2. Underneath the section with the heading "Display", click the item named "New Items"
This screenshot shows where to find the "New Items" link:

3. After clicking on "New Items", you will see a page that looks like this:

If you change both items to 0, like I did, you will never see "Updated" or "New" under a photo or an album again. I assume that this is what you want.
