Hello People,
I know this forum should be for g2 questions but iam looking forward to upgrade to that version but iam not sure if thats a good idea.
My Problem with G1.4.4 is that some videos dont upload and others do.
I Know that Gallery isnt made for uploading and viewing videos, but we us it for that purpose and it works (halfway).the upload (mini remote) doesnt start copying some videos. so i would like to get rid of this problem.
Maybe theres a trick in something like codecs and i dont need to update!
Dont flame me plz iam only trying to make the impossible, possible =)
i backuped all Data and read the update FAQs but i just need to know if the video-file support
on g2 is better and/or what types of videos can be uploaded or not.
Maybe 1.4.4 is to buggy at all.
I just thought that the update faq doesnt note that g2 comes up with a database and how the upgrade procedere should be awared to this notice.
Last way is to upgrade g1 to the newest and fuck on videos.
but then i would have to leave gallery for something else that can handle videos.
could all my problems be solved with an G1 update ?
should i convert all videos formats to thoose who are supported ? dunno witch worked and witch didnt. think they were all the same.. mpeg 2 and 4

Thanks 4 youre patients.
greetings from Germany.
Have a nice WE

Michael

uploading video's shouldn't be a problem. neither for g1 nor for g2.
some users reported some problems with playing the videos in the browsers, but that's not related to uploading them.

FAQ: Why can't I upload big files (over a megabyte or two)?
