Hi. I'm having some configuration issues with using the Gallery2 Component and Sidebar module for Joomla.

1. Gallery2 Sidebar module: I have enabled this, but get the message "your not on the gallery embedded page!" in the menu. Not sure how to get over this problem, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

2. I tried to link to the Gallery Component in the menu, which works but when it tries to load the page, it scrambles Joomla's template and misses out graphics galore! Again, any tips on where I'm going wrong would be fantastic!

Here's the techy bit:

Gallery version: 2.1.2
PHP built On: Linux cpweb16.idig.net 2.4.21-27.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Dec 1 21:59:02 EST 2004 i686
Database Version: 4.1.21-standard
PHP Version: 4.4.4
Web Server: Apache
WebServer to PHP interface: apache
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.0.11 Stable [ Sunbow ] 28 August 2006 20:00 UTC
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7

Thanks,

These links from the gallery 2 bridge documentation page should help.

1. http://wiki.4theweb.nl/w/Gallery:Modules:FAQ

I've decided to wrap G2 instead, such is my need for an easier life! The sidebar module is only good to me if it shows up as any other modules would on any pages I select. In addition, the paths in the config are correct, so there is definitely something up with the component. Tis a shame as I could see many advantages to setting up a business portal using this. Never mind and many thanks for making the effort to reply; given the delay I was wondering if there was anyone else out there in Joomlaland!
