Hi All, A newbie looking for some basic questions about Gallery. 1.) What is the maximum number of images the Gallery can hold? 2.) Is there a way to "expire" an image after a cetain amount of time? 3.) Is there a way to upload a single image and have it appear in multiple albums? |

1) There's no hardcoded maximum. There are quite a bunch of known Gallery 2 installations that run with more than 100'000 items. We know of at least one Gallery 2 with over 1'000'000 items.
Performance gets of course a little worse when you have more and more items, but Gallery 2 scales pretty well. The performance hit should be small.
2) No. There's no publicly available module to do that. I remember that the guys from the US DoD created such a module, but they never released it for the public.
You'd need to write a module for that.
