SOLVED: joomla - strange display problems

I have G2 integrated into Joomla. But for some reason i experience strange display problems in IE6/7:

could somebody take a look and guess why that is? sth to do with divss that are interpreted incorrectly?

SOLUTION: I had a joomla plugin installed that was supposed to fix css problems in IE but actually onl triggered them!! HOW dumb is that.
