Not an italian language ? Multilanguage version: Gallery, translated into german, swedish, lithuanian, french, hebrew, norwegian and dutch! AND ITALIAN NOT ???? It is not good. Italy is great !!! America was discover by an italian !!! Cristoforo Colombo !!! Pope live in Italy (Vatican city). Sun, sea, monument, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raffaello, Monna Lisa, Bramante, Marco Polo, Amerigo Vespucci, spaghetti, maccheroni, beaches, "o sole mio sta in fronte a me" ....... mafia, corruption, judges' bribers and political man that change the laws for not going to the jail.("Berlusconi poverino ne sa qualcosa"). .......

The ML version of Gallery is not managed by the same people as this Gallery distribution. Go complain to them.

Second, ask nicely, you're going to get flamed if you don't. This is open source software -- it's not our responsibility to translate things for you -- we're volunteers. If you want some fancy thing with all the features you want and in 50 billion languages, go pay someone.

That said, we'd love you to help us translate Gallery 2 (the next-generation version) into Italian.
Let us know if that's something you'd be interested in.

I didn't mean to deter you, but please try to be a little more sensitive next time. It would be great if you could lend you skills to help out the project, as beckett said.

Actually, my take on this was that ullone wasn't overly serious with his comments...

I took it all as a more lightlighted and "mock serious" tone when he discovered there was no Italian version. So his post didn't offend me so much as amuse.

It would be great if he could help with the Italian translation however.

And I could be wrong and maybe he was dead serious - if that's the case ...

Well, the capital letters didn't help. Maybe throw in a smiley or something to add sarcasm :smile: Sarcasm on a BBS can be difficult to achieve, esp. if you accidentally overdue it.
