set permissions to multiple folders

i'm building a gallery where posting pics from around the world
there are 6 galleries, each one of them representing a continent and each gallery will have sub galleries representing the countries.
the 6 mother galleries have to be shared and users can't add sub-albums and sub-items. the subfolders (countries) have to be accessible by the users so that they can post pictures and create subfolders in each country-album. is there a possibility to apply same permissions to all the countries-albums or permissions have to be set one by one (it takes forever)?
