I really want to create a gallery with the theme either like this one (preferably) http://underwa.ter.net/ or like this onehttp://www.alexanderbrucolini.com/gallery/main.php. I know a bit about php and html, but im in no way an expert so i was wondering if any of you guys had a theme like the previously mentioned that i could use or know where to find it.

Thanx

It's a slightly modified slider theme. It's got some visual changes like white bands around the images or some spacing stuff. The site also uses a few pieces of embedding like the front page and any other page where images show up thats not actually gallery (like the list of galleries is fully automated, if I add a gallery to gallery2, it shows up there). Im planning on a small how-to about my site as ive gotten about 2 dozen emails about it.

Oooh could you please do that? I would love to know how you tackled the Slider theme, since I'm trying to convert my catphotogallery to that particular theme.

What I'm most interested in is how you added the top navigation bar.

It's actually quite hard. The slider theme is using absolutely positioned div elements. That makes adding it to your design less than trivial. I'll try and do a little writeup, but it's going to be very specific to my own site.
