Hi,
I know this is an old thread, and this is a longshot, but does anyone know why Dynamic Albums don't browse properly w/ the x_treme theme? A hint where I might look in the template code would be appreciated & I'll post a fix back here if I find one. Thanks.

although my URL rewrite is set properly as "update" for the update dynamic album in the url rewrite rules...
the feed is called "petris' latest pics" and is working well, but I can't remember how I customized the title of this link...
Was there a time when you could customize dynamic album's RSS ? and not any more, cuz I can't find where I did this...
I have the feeling I am missing smth here...

All I can think of uninstalling the rewrite module and reinstalling also try different combination of the order of activating this module and the rewrite.
Make sure you are not using the code from this thread, use the code from downloadable plugins.
I could not find a RSS title managment anywhere, is it a matter of RSS or Dynamic Album managment ?

Never used mediaRss.php so I guess you could ask over at: http://www.flashyourweb.com/forum/index.php
But i think the title come from the title of the item. Perhaps I don't understand what title you are talking about.
The trick is that if you want to have an RSS feed for the dynamic album, you have to install the mMiniSlideShow app from Flashyourweb. The file mediarss.php comes from that application, you can edit the title of your RSS in it.

Hi,
I hope Mindless is still subscribed to this post
I have a problem with my dynamic update album, it used to work fine until today (great tool, thanx to you Mindless), don't know why.
it works well when I use this link :
http://www.coquille.org/gallery/main.php?g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum
and does not when I use this one (the one I have in the dynamic albums settings) :
http://www.coquille.org/gallery/updates
I get this error :
although my URL rewrite is set properly as "update" for the update dynamic album in the url rewrite rules...
Does anybody know what is the problem here ?

Thank you for your suggestion Alec,
Sorry I don't know what you mean by discrepancy (english is not my mother tongue)
about the link, you're right, it's "update" with no s, but the problem is the same, I get the same error code
I have more news, I found a rss link in my notes :
feed://www.coquille.org/gallery/mediaRss.php?mode=dynamic&g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum
the feed is called "petris' latest pics" and is working well, but I can't remember how I customized the title of this link...

Hello Dave,
thank you for your suggestion
I uninstalled and deleted both modules, reinstalled Rewrite before Dynamic Album, configured Rewrite before Dynamic Album and it works well.
Thank you !
One last question :
How can I change the title of my Dynamic Album Rss ?

Thank you Dave,
I got it, it's in the mediarss.php file in the root folder, I was looking in RSS and Dynamic Album module.
I found my own thread from July on flashyourweb (what a shame) :
http://www.flashyourweb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=25&showtopic=2014&highlight=mediarss.php
The trick is that if you want to have an RSS feed for the dynamic album, you have to install the mMiniSlideShow app from Flashyourweb. The file mediarss.php comes from that application, you can edit the title of your RSS in it.
Problem solved
thank you Dave
