"Click to run an ActiveX control..." Any workarounds?

If you use Internet Explorer to view a Quicktime movie embedded in my gallery, a pop-up window asked you to:

"Click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage." or
"Click to activate and use this control."

This is due to an annoying change that Microsoft made to how IE handles ActiveX content last spring. I've seen several workarounds for this issue--as in:

Has anyone incorporated one of these fixes into Gallery?
