Hi,

How do I change the time and date settings? I want DD/MM/YYYY, not MM/DD/YYYY as is default. I asked some friends who uses Linux about how to change locale, but they said it varies with each Linux distro. The same answer I got after googling for a while...

I am pretty sure you can actually do this from inside of G1 and G2. In G2, visit the Site Admin and take a look at the date / time display settings. Think they are at the top.

Otherwise, it'll be similar to other linux distros I imagine, but I don't specifically know. First stop would be adjusting it in G1/G2.

It worked when I changed "Language Settings", then I got the proper date and time settings, thought it would change the whole language in Gallery... But the language remained English and the date/time changed to my wishes, my mistake :)

I have honestly never changed the language settings. It is possible that the language you changed it to is not yet translated, so it stayed english. Could you try another language that is more likely to have been translated, like German maybe?

The setting I was refering to is *right* below the language choice.

It has %x for date, %X for time and %c for date/time. It has a link to php.net which should explain how you can change this. I warn you because it is possible that *sometime* in the future, your language might get properly translated... then you'll be banged :)
